27 May Who Is Jesus?
This week we will cover Matthew 8:23-9:8. Specifically, we will look at Jesus calming the storm and the question Matthew leaves us with: “What sort of man is this?” Matthew doesn’t answer the question immediately but goes onto the next account of Jesus where he casts out demons, who before they are cast out call him Son of God!
In these two accounts we see that Jesus is fully human (exhausted, sleeping because of hard work) and God (able to rebuke the winds and waves).
