16 Jun The Women Disciples Witness and Testify

Who would entrust something important or valuable to non-important people or mere on-lookers? The answer is, only someone who didn’t care that much. So then, why would Jesus entrust to his women disciples the crucial responsibility of not only seeing his death, burial and resurrection, but of testifying of them for decades after the events if those women were not that important to him and his ministry? The truth is, they were important to Jesus and he was right to entrust such crucial and foundational items of the Christian message to them.
