This week we dive into Daniel 2 to consider the image from Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and the stone that obliterated it. The image represented human kingdoms, regimes and empires. The stone that grew into a great mountain filled the earth and represented God’s kingdom. One lasts for eternity. The other declines and degrades. Where do you place your hope? Thriving in our post-Christian culture means running up against the myth of prepress, but staying firm in our faith means we hold to the hope that God holds out to us. Who is the stone who established God’s Kingdom? Jesus!
