13 Dec God-Made Distinctions

in Exodus - God Reveals, God Rescues
This week we will focus on the fact that after the first three plagues on Egypt, God made a distinction between His people and the Egyptians. The last seven plagues did not touch or harm the Israelites. He did this to make Himself known to the Israelites, the Egyptians and to Pharaoh. How does God do this for us today? The main way is not in Him shielding us from difficulties, but in Him living within us. 2 Cor. 2:14-15 talk about believers being an aroma, a fragrance of God. A challenging question for us to consider is whether or not others in our life can smell the aroma of God! There should be this very evident distinction in all those who call Jesus “Lord”.
