This week we are covering Psalm 22. This is another lament. It’s a well known Psalm because verse 1 was quoted by Jesus while He was suffering on the cross. We will emphasize how David experienced being forsaken as he went through his experience, as did Christ on the cross. The challenge for us as we follow in their footsteps is will God still be “our” God when He doesn’t answer our prayer or meet our expectations?
