Matt. 7:7-11 Ask, seek, and knock. This has often been seen as persistence in prayer but today many scholars see asking, seeking and knocking as synonyms. The point being that we have a heavenly Father who knows what we need and seeks our good. We can ask unashamedly and boldly.
