Psalm 71. The psalmist looks back at his life and also looks forward. Seeing God’s sovereignty from the his mother’s womb until old age. Seeking God to be his refuge in the past and also in the future. Having a hope for the future based on the past and prayer for being sustained in old age. Also passing on to the next generation the experiences of God they have had.
